It gets me prepared and there is less effort in the morning! To be completely honest I used to be the queen of excuses and I can only hope that my old habits dont return. This time around I have decided not to set myself up to fail. I will be active but this time not demand that I workout X days a week or X miles. Because the second that day came when I didnt meet my expections it turned into "well, i failed at exercise today so I may as well go to McDonalds". And this would just spiral downward from there. So now I am recognizing where I have gone wrong in the past and learning from it. I am so glad you posted about this today because getting myself mentally prepared is half the battle. And I think I will blog about it today! I set my alarm clock 20 minutes before I am supposed to be out the door. I know then that I have to get out of bed and not snooze and 20 minutes is perfect for me to get dressed, brush teeth, put hair up and yaddi, yaddi yah!<br /><br />How long did it take you to make exercise a habit?
