Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Blood?  Check.
Sweat? Check.
Tears? Check. Check.

I don't know about other runners out there, but I enjoy watching people run on TV.
I've watched marathons, tri's, and ironman competitions...
and I've cried every time I witness someone run across the finish line whether
they're first or last.

This may sound strange, but I cry.
I guess I picture myself crossing that finish line with them.
I imagine the blood, sweat, and tears that took to get there.

I have the ongoing blood blisters.
I sweat lots.
I've cried many times from pain and happiness... sometimes at the same moment.

Do you watch these races?
Do you find yourself emotional too?

I am right there with you! I watched the MTV show "I used to be fat" where the girl ran the 5k, and I got a little misty. Its so difficult, and I KNOW how difficult it is, because its me! I am going through the same thing, so I feel their pain, frustration, joy, etc.
