For now, just call me "M." I'm a stay-at-home-mom to twin toddlers. I met my husband when I was at my healthiest and most fit stage in my life- 113 pounds. I used to work out 5-6 days a week doing weightlifting, kickboxing, spinning, and yoga. I gradually gained my weight back in the last 5 years. I am 5'1" and was 163 pounds when I started this journey in January 2010. I was prediabetic and taking medications to keep me from getting diabetes. I also have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. This blog has been a vital tool in my "get healthy" journey. I hope that it helps others out there see they are not alone with their weight and health issues and that they CAN do something about it.
