Should I Do it?

Here is my new Steve Madden purse.
I just really liked how roomy it was.
I can totally fit all of the "diaper bag" stuff in it if I needed to.
It's also nice to bring it to the movies to bring my own snacks in it! Haha!
More than anything, I'm just so happy that I made my first goal.
That 10% was the hardest so far!

I have many friends who are runners.
I am not a runner; however, I have been thinking about it.
There are less than 9 months to train to run a 5K that I've looked into.
I think it would be great if I did it.
This may sound pretty wimpy to you, but I've never been a good runner and I'm still heavy.
Running and actually finishing this 5Kwould be HUGE for me.

I also believe that training for it will help me achieve my weight loss goals.

I've looked into some easy beginner's running programs.
Do you have any suggestions?
Should I do it?

Today's Plan
1 large corn tortilla, 1/6 cup lowfat cheese, 1 slice turkey bacon

Cute purse! Yes, you should do it! I am on week three of the couch-to-5k program and really liking it.

definitely look into the couch 2 5k plan! It's supposed to train you for one... . I haven't done it yet, but want to when the weather gets better here!

I think that you shuld do the 5K what do you have to lose? If you like it you can prepare yourself and do another one knowing what you are getting into and correct any mistakes that you make along the way. DO IT! DO IT!

I'm currently training for a 5k. I'm in my second week. I'm not a runner... I love playing soccer and other things... but I never thought I could become a 'runner'. I got this program online on how to go from 0-5k in 6 weeks. I thought 'wow that's fast' but I started it none the less. And I can't believe how much I've achieved in 2 weeks!! I feel stronger and powerful... but I'm not to the point yet where I think I can finish this thing. I'm gonna post the link to my workout so you can take a look at it. It's pretty reasonable (you only workout 4 times a week) and you can always add to it... take extra time during the weeks for make it a 12 week program in you wanted instead. I say go for it. My 5k race is March 27... and I'm jittery about it... but I'm completing my workouts like I'm suppose to... we shall see.
