Slow is the New Fast

Did you know?
Slow is the "new" fast!

I'm totally in love with ths saying. It means to me more than just the pace that I run. LOL.
Weight loss is also a slow process. You have to be patient, consistent, and work your butt off!

I weighed myself on Saturday, and I lost 1.5 pounds!
Not bad for not being able to do any cardio- especially running!

I'm very happy about this loss.
I'm 11.5 pounds away from my weight goal!

Today I am thankful for the "will" that I've been blessed with during this journey.
It's so easy to wake up at 6 a.m. and "give in" to the feeling of "I'm too tired to run and/or work out today.
I'm so thankful that I have the support from my family, friends, and blog readers that keep me pushing on.

Thank you!

Oh my gosh! I'm so happy to have stubbled upon your blog!!

After months of agonizing I've decided that I'm going to lose weight. (Several humilating experiences prompted my decision.) I just weighed myself and *gulp* I have gained over 100 lbs!!! Yikes!

Feeling overwhelmed, scared, and utterly freaked out I decided to search out weight loss stories. Ya know, just to prove to myself that people can do this and low & behold I come across your blog.

It seems that everyone in the weightloss industry has a book to sell but in the blogging world it seems that real people are losing weight and I want to see what's working for them.

I can't believe I started a blog but now I feel like it was the right choice for my 1st Step on the journey.

Thanks for putting yourself out there!!! I appreciate it!

You know M, I'm loving the saying "Slow is the new fast" As you already know I haven't been losing weight lately and in the past this is where I would normally have given up! But this time is different, I'm going to keep on pushing & even though I haven't lost weight the entire month of April, I am starting to lose it again in May!!! So, patience is a virtue! Thank you for this post and I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!!!
