Sensible But Still Cute

Last Saturday, I hit my goal right on mark for
"25 pounds lost." My reward is a pair of these New Balance mules that I NEED to wear around the house.
They're super comfy, and they remind me that I need to give TLC to my feet so I can keep running.
They were only about $29, so I didn't break the bank.
I like getting these little rewards for my effort, and they motivate me a lot.
I should've known shopping would do the trick as far as weight loss!
Do you give yourself rewards?
I figured that since I'm saving money from not paying Weight Watchers to keep me accountable, it's okay to spend money on me when I do good.

Thursday's Food and Activities
35 minutes run/walk program
(5 min. run, 2 min. walk)
45 minutes walk with twins
20 minutes abs
30 minutes upper body with free weights
1 light Activia yogurt
1 whole wheat english muffin, 1 TBS B&B spread, 4 slices tomatoes, 1 turkey bacon slice
7 almonds
2 small corn tortillas, 1 turkey bacon slice, 4 slices tomatoes, 1/4 nonfat cheddar
7 almonds
4 oz. ground chicken breast Thai dish with lots of veggies and 1/2 cup white rice

Have a happy and healthy day!

cute shoes. they DO look comfy.

i give myself rewards, but not scheduled ones. i impulse buy way too much, but still consider it a treat, regardless of whether or not I "deserve" it. :)

I love the shoes, they are too cute. I do give my self treats if I reach a goal. I do little things when I reach a 10 lb weight loss goal. Like a new head band for walking. When I reach my 25 lb weight loss goal I am saving for a bike.
